Nikita"This one is so lively and active." With those words we adopted Nikita (aka the Black and White, Little Girl, Pretty Girl, and Nikitacat) from the Fairfax County, VA Animal Shelter in July 1989 when she was about 3 months old. She has an aggressive/dominating personality (she certainly dominates us!). But she doesn't like meeting new people. When there are visitors, more often than not she runs and hides under the bed. She can be very affectionate when she wants to be. Nikita lives in an average house in Fairfax County, Virginia, about 18 miles from Washington, DC. The house has three stories with many hiding places and lots of space for a cat to play; it is a feline Disneyland. Except for occassional treats, Nikita eats Iams cat food which she seems to enjoy. She had gotten used to being top cat when Gizmo came along. She sort of tolerates Gizmo, as long as he doesn't get too close. How Nikita Spends Her Day
Nikita has a cousin, Cosmo, an orange and white Cornish Rex who lives in an apartment in New York City.. He also has cousins, Belle, Mr. Mindy, Blacky & Tigger, in Indiana.
